Bumper options for 80 series?

Well, the wife and I have been discussing a change in our family rig. I love the 1st gen runner but it is just not as family friendly as I would like it.
So here is my question. I am not a huge fan of the ARB bumper. Just to heavy IMO, so I would like to know who all makes bumpers for the 80 series LC. Any Info would be great - Thanks

Ih8mud has the best info in the 80 series faq under forum members front bumpers.
The short list is:
ARB
Slee Shortbus
Original Slee
TJM

TJMs are hard to find stateside these days and Christo only does limited runs of his original bumper occasionally. The shortbus is a nice looking bumper and will accept a number of winches. Not as much protection as the ARB, but nice.....

Metal Tech also makes a nice front bumper. I'm sure there's a pic on that link provided.

The rear bumpers are pretty cool Mike. I do like the Slee Shortbus but going through all the bumpers on mud there are a few neat home builds I like as well

More than Likely I will have to build to my taste. I like angles and unique corners I need to make sure my approach angle as good or better than what i have on the runner now.

If you want the least weight and best clearance, tube is the solution. Plus with a good fabricator it can be done relatively cheaply. I probably lost weight overall with my bumpers until we welded a recessed Drawtite between the frame rails, and even them am still close to stock with the stuff removed and frame trimming.

Nice tube bumper. I have been running a tube bumper on the runner for the last few years. Probably come up with something on my own
