Bumpstops

Is anyone running anything other than the stock bumpstops on a Gen 2? I went to some progressive foam bumpstops on the front of my old Toyota and it made a big difference in ride quality. Same thing on my old Miata. I'd like to get some progressive poly ones in the rear of the Monty (looks like it should be pretty easy) and some sort of progressive ones in the front too but I can't seem to find anyone that's done it.

I cut mine for more travel... That's about all of the help I can offer on this one.

How much did you trim?

I cut around 3/5ths of it off. Left enough for it to still do it's job. Works pretty well.

Ok, cool. No problems with the CVs or steering?

No sir. It works very well especially if you have cranked you torsion bars.

You can also drill holes into them to remove some of the material and get a similar effect. I haven't done it myself but I have seen it done by others on 4x4wire.com's mitsu forums.

Looks like I've got a little project today then. No word on replacing the compression stops though?
