Buying a UZJ100 with 160k, am I crazy?

NM-Frontier, don't know if that question was directed at me, but I can't speak to the statistics of the transmission life in the early 100s. My sampling of several Hundies is not statistically significant. I'm sure there are some examples out there, but in anecdote, compared to the other options out there for like-vehicles, I would wager the 100 at even high miles to be pretty high in the ranks of longevity. I have been extremely impressed with how well these wear even compared to the LC80.

My brothers 01 ran like a chap when he sold it and it was around 270k miles. It had a lot of miles pulling a trailer and a lot off road. No tranny issues.

I find them all day in Atlanta under 150K for $10-13K. I have purchased 2 in the last year in the ATL.
