I really liked the Advenures books (Northern or Southern). Nice full size pages with maps, pics, and good descriptions. Kinda large for in the truck use. But good for research at home. In truck friendly book I’d choose the California Backroads and 4’Wheel drive trials books. But honestly I used all of them to cross reference trials. I always used a real map when on the actual trail.
