HI All,
As someone who was born and raised in California, but moved to other places in 1965, your journey brought back many good memories. We used to do a lot of trekking in the Southern part of the state, the part you followed. I followed your entire trip with mapping software. Definitely a great adventure. It must have been a big job to do the planning.
