after lookin at the SWEET ambulance conversion...I did recall when runnin on the "busses" (squads)...that the sidelights were AWSOME...

but since I gotta go low-pro for the sake of the garage...

what about these mounted to say the sliding door..the back corner and 2 on the backdoors and other side (6 all the way around? heck 3 may do a great job!)..

wonder how well they would light the camp up incase of late/early leaving..noises and just for convenience lights?

They could be useful. I have found that a normal work light is way too bright and harsh, and it also sticks out a bit from the vehicle.

I've got 5 flourescent tube lamps inside my van that I hate - these might be a decent replacement..

edit: 3 position switch? on/off/door?

3-position is probably on, off, and probably a tilt sensitive, or ambient light sensitive mode.

Very cool. Im in the process of figuring my camper interior lighting. Those look like the ticket.

3 leads

Wondering why there are 3 leads, sent e-mail to seller asking why. Will let you know.

I've got a 35 LED "Porch Light" which works fabulously under the awning on Boomer. I had it shipped from Australia a few months back. It draws about 0.2A and puts out enough light to read under the awning at night. My upcoming roof rack build will utilize two tractor utility lights (the ones with the rubber shell) on each side for perimeter lighting. I'm sure they will be a little harsh for the "gather around the campfire and tell stories" atmosphere, but for working around camp, repairs, or setup/teardown, I think they will be perfect.
