Here's my junk, nothing fancy. Old Palomino short bed pop up riding on an 02 Powerstroke. It fits in my 01 V10 F250 short bed but I do like having a little wiggle room in the Diesel. I plan on running a transfer tank in the front and sliding the camper up to it.

'05 Ram3500 with 5.9 Cummings. Hillsborough aluminum tray, aluminum storage boxes, Buckstop front bumper with 12k winch, rear swingouts for spare and storage box, two 5 gallon Scepter can holders. FWC Hawk camper.

The four most appreciated features of this rig are storage, outside cooking, powered interior ventilation and the factory hot water outside shower. All of your "outside camping stuff/gear" stays outside. The transition from "on the road" to "camping" is greatly simplified by not having to move stuff from here to there. Wet, muddy, smoky gear is all stored in the outer storage bins. The drop down lids on the main compartments make great work surfaces. The other side of the rig has an awning, almost all of our cooking is done out of the right side storage bay using a Coleman stove. Solar panel and good batteries allow the MaxxFan over the bed to be run in hot weather blowing air right on you...makes hot weather camping very doable.

(***must change screenname... :p***)

wife and I recently added an AT Habitat to our ’18 power wagon. Installed in Prescott right before overland expo, then knocked out 5000mi and over 10 nights in it coming back up to the snows of AK.

pretty stoked on it so far!!! Things I love:
- the room. Holy cow. Truckbed treehouse. I’m 6’2” and being able to not only stand, but stretch, dress, whatever in the bed of the truck is worth a lot to me.
- I got it down to just a few minutes for setup/packing even by myself. took a few trips around the truck to do it, but hey... better than a ground tent and gives the dogs a chance to run for a few extra minutes
- the weight. Still allows right around 1000lbs of payload when installed. Know that can disappear quick, so trying to be purposeful with what we carry.
- I still have my truck bed. Got home, unloaded, then immediately went to Lowe’s to buy a snowblower. Full-size blower fit inside without any weirdness to blower or habitat. the “cabinet” and fridge unit I’m building will remain easily removable exactly for that reason
- we haven’t used it yet, but excited to try the habitat enclosure for extra room in less than great weather

things we are working on:
- finishing out the “cabinet” and other storage. Figuring out what goes where, what can store in Velcro and mesh pouches on the walls, what’s in the cab, etc etc. the tiny human is occupying the back seat with her not-tiny amount of stuff and the dogs will be in the bed on the road, so having to keep that as a consideration.
- heat. The volume of air is going to be fun. Likely going webasto diesel, but haven’t decided fully. My wife and I both used Webastos in Antarctica on several vehicles and absolutely trust them and know their operation.
- wiring and secondary power... gonna add a second set of corner plugs/lights and have to figure out the direction want to go on second battery, solar, goal zero box, or etc etc
- 35s on the truck. As they should have came

All in all very stoked for the new rig. The xterra will remain as a dedicated trail and solo rig, but thus set up is aimed to be our ideal family exploring rig.
