Your link in your signature for the low-* DIY popup is not correct. It is to a YouTube video that is not about the camper. My DIY hard side pop up survived White Rim and worked great.

The OEV is a beast in cold weather. The soft walls are well insulated and the Trauma propane heater keeps it toasty even on the lowest fan setting. It is extremely comfortable. The heat is very consistent. We have 30 nights in it and 10 of them have been below freezing. How do the soft sides do in winter? Propane or diesel heat?

I agree with tacollie. We have an AT Summit with the insulation pack and also have the propane Truma Vario heater. Been out in temps down to 10 degrees and we were very comfortable. I think the soft sides do very well in the cold. I'm sure some are better than others so if looking at a soft sided camper really look at what the fabric is made of and if it does not have insulation built into the fabric then I recommend getting an insulation pack if they offer it.How do the soft sides do in winter?
