Camper Jack Lifting System

I am building my truck camper and was wondering if anyone has ever made a electric lifting system from 12v trailer jacks that want to share any info?

Its a great question! I'll soon be starting a camper build also and have been looking into various solutions to this problem. But so far I have not come up with a firm plan. The trailer tongue jacks do like like a good place to start for lifting a smaller camper.

Are you asking about a 12v option for corner jacks?

They are not cheap. Unless I bought a camper that came with it, I would likely use manual jacks and bring a cordless impact driver.

That's what I have and the jacks are like new from sitting in the garage for 20 yrs. I remove the camper yearly for service and it goes back on. I tend to use the cranks with a friend in order to not twist the camper up.

I have the Rieco Titan remote electric jacks on our camper.

and i have just purchased some motors here to power them - its a UK site but if you then hunt around the internet you can find the original suppliers in China. and probably also resellers in the US in the robotics market

i'm using the 72:1 ratio gearboxes. An initial test driving through the 2:1 reduction bevel gears show they can lift the camper OK, but will take around 10 minutes to full extend/retract. I'll be swapping the bevel gears out in favour of a chain and sprocket drive so I can mount the motors parallel to the lead screws to give a neater, more compact setup
