Is it needed?
Place where people can discuss the merits of different kinds of shells, (shell, topper, canopy, - they seem to have different names in different parts of the country
) like: which one to buy, what options to get, where to find them, how to modify them (interior storage/sleeping and exterior storage), etc.
I know lots of us run shells here but all of the "expedition camper" sub-boards seem to be geared towards arrangements other than a simple camper shell.
The reason I'd favor a sub-board is because right now these kinds of questions tend to get scattered around in various places: Either in the model-specific forums, the "general vehicle modification" forums or even in "around the campfire."
Who else thinks we should have a specific board to discuss shells/toppers? I think it would be very helpful especially to those people who don't run a shell right now but are thinking of getting one. I'm a huge fan of camper shells and can't imagine owning a truck without one.
