When I bought my truck it came with rear air bags, electric brakes, and frame mounted camper tie downs. I initially thought they were TorkLift tie down but I believe I am wrong now.
The truck came with 1/2 of the system. I am missing the part that slides into the square stock tubing that is bolted to the frame (this part I am missing is the part that the camper has to hook on to).
The front ones near the cab look like TorkLife but I don't believe they are. And the rear ones definitely are not. The rear set up is a 60+ inch square stock tube that is held in place by two frame bolted clamps.
Inside measurement of the tubing is 1 5/8 inches outside measurement is 2 1/16 inches(rough measurement) .
Does anyone know who manufactures a set up like this. I'd like to keep the set up and order the parts that slide into the tubing so I can tie down a camper when I buy one.
Does this make sense what I am explaining?
Or is it safe to buy tubing that is strong enough to hold a camper and make my own?
