So now that I have all of your collective ears, I have another newbie camper question. I was out with a test light today and noticed that my trucks trailer wiring harness has power on the battery positive (pin 4) all the time. I had assumed that this was relayed to come on with the ignition so a trailer with a battery wouldn't drain the trucks batteries when it's off. I found some nice 10' harnesses that are plug and play for putting a plug in the bed but now I'm thinking maybe that won't work. Do I need to install an isolater for my camper charge wire or is it not a big deal? I tend to overthink things sometimes and turn molehills into mountains......
