Why am I not outside?
Hey guys, Im wanting to get a Camping Lab RTT, But Ive never seen one in person. I would really like this chance before I shell out $800 for one. Is there anyone in CA that would be willing to show me theirs? I will drive to you!

I have a cascadia vehicle tent. which I understand is very similar to the Camping Lab. I live in Elk Grove...

I also bought the "changing room" add-on from Camping Lab so you can check their quality/etc on that.

If you want you can come and check it out. PM me if interested.

I will say after this year with the RTT I am sooooo sold on these.

No RTT here and not wanting to hijack your thread, but we are just down the hill in Jamestown. Are you familiar with Mud Sweat and Gears? I think that you may find some like minded people.

I just received my CampingLabs medium RTT yesterday and it's great. You're welcome to see it, but I'm way south in Riverside, CA.

Bummer, I was just in Santa Clarita too, it would have been perfect. I was able to find one to look at here in north CA. How did Camping Lab ship it? Did it arrive pretty quickly?

They shipped it air freight, and it was delivered straight to my house on a truck from the local airport, for free.

The site says "now taking preorders" but it arrived just 10 days after I placed the order.

I'll post a write up/review once I get a chance to sleep in it. The quality is much higher than I expected for the price, and it was very easy to install but it was more difficult to take down/fold up than I expected, but perhaps it will get faster. I still haven't slept in it, but the mattress seems extremely comfortable!

I think it will be a lot of fun to use- I'm trying to build a Volvo station wagon expedition vehicle...

Wow thats a relief, I was expecting to wait months for mine to show up!

Thats what I think is so great about these, they can be applied to almost any vehicle or trailer, with less dirt involved than a regular tent.
