If I'm not mistaking I believe that entire side of the island is off limits to public. A while back there was some vandalism and the tribe closed the area.

For all I know it could be opened again.

They've closed it up, two many people screwed up that Pyramid beach and it was a beautiful spot--

They've also closed the Southern camping/fishing area of the truckee river, just South of I-80--The Paiutes won't forgive us--
