Can Ford or Chevy bench mount backwards?

bknudtsen That picture helps. I didn't realize the floor brackets stuck out like that. I guess I assumed the floor would be flat when the seats are removed. Are all years of E-series like that?

That's a layout I hadn't considered. I'd been set on me and my wife sleeping on a bed farthest back in the van. Too much looking at SMB layouts!

So ert01 - you have a total of four bucket seats plus the bed/bench? The driver and passenger, plus two more passenger buckets as the second row? Then the third row is a bed/bench? Behind that is a mattress on the floor?

And you just leave the car seats attached in the second row buckets all the time I assume?

No sorry not 4 buckets, just 2 + the bench. But I do have 2 middle row buckets sitting in my garage though... I could always try it out and see if all 4 would fit with the bench... That would be pretty sweet.

I undo the car seats and take them off the bench at night time and throw them in the front buckets. That way they're out of the way.
