Can we get a list going of real world MPG with your rig?

If this is already on here somewhere please direct me there. I searched and didn't find what I was looking for.

I would like to get an idea of real world MPG numbers with different rigs. I know it can vary greatly but Please include truck, engine, transmission, final drive ratio, tire size and weight. A picture of your rig wouldn't hurt either

I don't have any MPG numbers but I will kick it off by listing my specs. 1996 Isuzu NPR, Cummins 12v 6BT, Allison 1000, 3.73 gears maybe, 37" tires and maybe 15000lbs.

Hoping for somewhere near 20mpg on flat ground by keeping RPM under 2000. Is that just wishful thinking? With that gearing 1800rpm = 75mph

18 MPG with Cruise Control set at 75 MPH

98 F-150 with 235k on the 4.6L, 3.83 gears, 285/67/17 all terrain tires.

In the Suburban with the Cummins and NV4500, I was running about 14.5 mpg. 4.11 front and rear, D60 front, corporate 14 rear, detroit lockers in both, 35" tires.

In the 2012 FUSO FG with the 3.0 and Duonic, with an EC box on it, been running around 12.5 mpg. Still have to weigh it, but probably around 11.5k.

Here it is for 2003 FG649, max weight 4200kgs, 315/75R16 - I normally get from 16L-17.5L /100km with 85km/hr max (2500 RPM) mostly on highway. Best I got 15.2L/100km, I think I was driving around 70km max on back roads. I usually fill up at Liberty (sometime at 7/11). I found I get less mileage from Shell (I tried this with my Surf as well).

Hi all my 2013 NPS 300 Euro 5 standard wheels 8.5 R 17.5 michelins round 6.5 tonne loaded has just on 10,000kls (2 year build) ,if I keep it around 2200 rpm in 5th 95 k we get around 19 L / 100 k pretty happy with that ,my friend with his Territory was green with envy can't get that towing his van

Made the front end and side edges rounded for good aerodynamics,,see pic
Get about 24 mpg thats imperial,,motor turns at 1600 rpm at 100 km/h..

I was just pondering doing some math to compare the metric offerings from everyone here. Thanks for this!

A couple of years ago I went through the entire forum and compiled a list of every listed fuel economy I could find. The consensus was there were a few outliers- IE extremely overweight vehicles getting very poor economy or questionable reports of very high economy. Almost everyone else reported about 13.1 mpg which is exactly what my average has turned out to be so far. I did a thread on it but can't seem to find it.

Hehe. There's always a handful of "those guys" who have the exact same engine as everyone else but somehow manage to get twice the fuel mileage. Over on Ford-trucks.something the V10/6.4 seem to be the worst. "I'm getting 21mpg with my 6.4 on 44s!" Yeahhhh.

Two things in the world a catholic priest is willing to lie about, choir boys and fuel mileage.

Those are some awesome figures, our 2007 FG649 fully loaded (6tonne) normally gets 19-21. Km/100 only doing 80-85kph. What's your secret as I really could do with the extra economy you get.

Those numbers sound close to mine:
1993 Mercedes 917AF 9.4t
20 liters per 100km 80 km/hr cruise.(faster than that destroys mileage)
and the best bit: 2000km on a full tank!
