SOME Sears bricks-and-mortar stores have the highly regarded Canon A570IS on clearance for $95 this weekend. Use Sears.com to find stores that have the camera in stock. This camera got a "highly recommended" score from DPReview.com when they tested it a year ago.

The A570IS is one of the cameras that can use the free CHDK software hack. Among other features, CHDK adds the ability to record images in RAW format. Check it out here:

Thanks for the heads up. My Sony DSC-T1 decided to kick it just last weekend so I'd like a low dollar replacement.

Sears.com lists this camera at $179.99. I'll be going by a store that shows it in stock tomorrow.
