How old is the lens? Are u sure it is the DO IS USM or is it it possibly the IS USM? I may have a buyer up here. The difference is quite significant.

I will double check, the lens is down at the shop.. im at home. I'll post up Monday.

I just checked the lens and yes it's a DO lens. It says DO on the lens in GREEN. I can take a photo of it if you want.

As far as how old it is, i have to check... probably 2 years old. Gramps buys new lenses every year. He has to have the latest and greatest They get used for family photos only.
