There is no leak. If you drive through 5 feel of water, the inside of the vehicle is going to get wet. Its a Land Rover, not a submarine. As for getting rid of the smell, you need to remove the front seats, center console, rear seats, and some other trim panels to remove the complete vehicle carpet. You can try powerwashing it (top side and bottom side) in your driveway and letting it dry in the sun for a day or two. If its really bad, get it steam cleaned. Scrub the inside floorpan of the car with soap and water, then spray it all down with lysol. Put a few fans inside and let them run while the carpet is drying on its own. Unplug all electrical connectors near the floor that might have been wet (there's a lot in the kick panels), clean then with contact cleaner and apply some dielectric gel before plugging them back in. Reinstall the carpet/seats/etc and remember what a pain in the *** this all was so you don't do it again next time.

Or, just live with it and watch the mold grow. Your floors will start to rust and you will eventually get weird electrical problems from hidden connectors corroding.

You drive through gross swamp water and your truck now smells terrible. What did you expect?

Lol first is your keyboard broken? But in all seriousness Rovers leak when they rain, can't imagine what you expected from 5 feet of mud. The smell is mildew, I know because I've been there. The only real option is to strip out and dry all of the wet interior parts. I ended up removing seats, carpet, and trim. After that I left my windows open and put two air blowers in the truck to keep air circulating. It worked out but was a pain in the ********.

I have had inches of water in my cabin from when one of my D2 was topless. It dried out and everything has been fine since (knock on wood) other than several electronics going belly up in a cloud of smoke.

Guys just letting it dry out on its own is not the correct course of action to take. What is the proper course of action when a house is flooded by dirty river water? You gut it and rebuild. A Land Rover is no different. I know you "can" just let it dry and "maybe" everything will be okay, but it really needs to be stripped out, dried, and cleaned.
