clever gadget. Especially for the aged or injured, as illustrated in their ads. And you are not likely to 'forget it', it's only used as you get in and out, just never take your hand off it, installing and removing it becomes part of the same action.

FIL has one and loves it! He practices "Never take your hand off it" and so far, has not slammed it once.

My concern is someone elderly slips, and the resulting handle hooks them and could very easily cause some serious injury.
Nice idea, but something about it seems a bit trap like to me.
