Cascadia Denali Summit Series Roof Top Tent - Light Switch Relocation

Blissfully Lost
I purchased the Cascadia Denali Summit Series roof top tent and installed it a few weeks ago.
Can the switch for the light & USB plug inside the tent be swapped to the opposite side of the tent.
The fabric seems pretty tight around the bar and it appears the only way to do it is disassemble the bar, pull the fabric off and flip it.
Is there an easier way?
Thank you ahead of time for any suggestions...

Not sure. I’d give Bobby a call at CVT. Really nice fella, and I’m sure he’ll give you the full rundown.

Yes you can flip that bar and it's not hard to do. I've had to replace my main hoop a few times due to other issues so I'm speaking from experience. I'll assume you have the stargazer top and if so, remove the rainfly completely and open the top flaps. Next, prop the ladder side up by 6" or so to relieve the tension on all the fabric and internal straps. At this point I would remove the 2 phillips screws that hold the main hoop to the cast aluminum pivot blocks on the hinge. I would do this as opposed to trying to remove that pivot bolt cause it'll be harder to get realigned even with the hinge engaged. Once these are out you should be able to gently work the pole out of the tent and straps, flip it around and reinstall. You may need to utilize the front and rear windows too when rotating around. It's probably an hour or so process start to finish.
