Cascadia Vehicle Tents

Anyone know anything about them? Looks like they're competing with Maggiolia tents and have their own trailers. Tents are 1500 & 2400, and the trailers are varied, $5600 (looks like the base model, and are used rental units), 9k, or 10k (they have 2 different models). Both have a pull out kitchen.

They're located in Bend OR.

Am mainly curious as to the tents, as this style (St Helens, or Maggolia) would be the only type I'd consider.

I have a CVT Mt Rainier and like it, but I do not have any experience with other RTT's. The mattress is a bit firm, but it is better than the ground.

I have a Mt. Rainier RTT and have been pleased with it.

I can't speak to the other products, but Bobby is a really great guy to work with.

Same here I have one of the rooftop tents, Very happy with it. Other companies should take a leaf out of CVT's customer service book, It's outstanding.
Sorry no experience with the trailers

I think I need a bigger truck!
I do not have any personal experience with the clam-shell style CVT, but I have some friends who recently bought one. They originally wanted the smaller Mt Baker and ordered one from a local dealer here in Victoria. When the order showed up, there was no Mt Baker, only a Mt St Helens and a bunch of Mt Hood's (including mine) and Mt Shastas. My friends were heading out on a trip planned well in advance and were super bummed that their tent was not in the shipment, so Bobby at CVT and Mike at Trekken Offroad hooked them up with the larger more expensive Mt St Helens for the same price as the Mt Baker and sent them on their merry way. Excellent customer service on both counts.

They love it, and are very happy with their purchase. I asked them how it worked out on their 2 week trip, and they both raved about it. Comfortable, easy to use, well made... and the service, great as always. I am very happy with the quality of the Mt Hood I have, nice material, decent stitching etc...only flaw I found is with one zipper missing the end stopper. Easy fix, no harm no foul.

I personally recommend CVT... and can vouch for the comfort and quality. I also have friends who say the same for their Mt St Helens. I had friends years ago with a Maggolina, very well made also and comfortable, but more $$.

That's all good to know. And these guys are (relatively) close to me (or at least Van - which I visit every summer).
