Cb antenna mounting location

I just picked up a topper for my dakota so I could build a platform and do some camping. When I bought it I had to remove my cb antenna though. I can’t really figure out a good location to mount the antenna now, could i get some suggestions and pictures? Nothing on google has really peaked my interest so far.

If you went with a zero ground plane antenna, I would put it on the rack. Rhino Rack makes a neat little folding antenna bracket. If you prefer ground plane, what about on the left side of the hood opposite your FM antenna?

I do plan to buy a rack for the cap to haul my kayaks so maybe I’ll just wait for that before I go drilling holes elsewhere

You could make a bracket to go between the bed top and topper. Or body mount it behind a taillight and have to protrude outwards.

This set-up provides solid "reflection" for signal off the hood.
