I figured I would post up my build thread since I found the threads on here invaluable to my efforts. :victory: Not 100% done but only a few things left like framing in the tailgate and painting the trailer to match my Jeep.

That is a great build up, nice job. in the build you mentioned your friend maybe making some lids, there is someone in canada making these that are amazing but dealing with the international shipping is a pain. How much would he make a lid for? Great job!!!!

Very nice build! Recently I bought one of these trailers, and just getting started with building it up.

I've never tackeled anything quite like this before, and the for the first part of my build, I want to get the hubs changed out so that the trailer and Jeep wheels match. Hoping to get away with carrying a single spare that could be used for either. I have an '08 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon.

I'm looking at order the following from http://www.trailercanada.com :
84556 W/44649 & 5 ON 5 - CMPLT HUB & DRUM, 3.5K, AXLE EZ-LUBE, FITS 10" X 2 1/4" BRKS

Am I on the right track, or is there some additional info/parts I'll need to swap the hubs out?

Toyrover, who in Canada is building those lids? Do you have a link? Thx!

The lid cost really depends on the desired dimensions and demand. I will say that mine is bent out of a single sheet of Aluminum. I wasn't going for height, rather strength and light weight. If a few folks showed interest, we could put a cost together...
