Cheap aftermarket mirrors and headlights?

I'm shopping around for power towing mirrors and black 08+ sealed beam headlights and have found really low prices online...$120 for a pair of headlights and $120 for a pair of mirrors. Has anyone had personal experience with this cheap aftermarket stuff? Thoughts? Thx

Are you talking about the work head headlights? I was curious if the 2008-2010 f250 composite headlights would work in place of the base style headlight?

I'm going with the work van black style with black grill. I've seen vans with the black grill using the composite headlights, so my guess is they're interchangeable.

Yeah but I was wondering if the truck headlights would work on the van or if there is a difference

I've heard more complaints about the mirrors vibrating than anything else.
But for OE quality, why not get OE parts... from the junk yards for a fraction of the new parts's price?

I'm doing the complete front end swap on my 2001 E350. As far as the headlights go, the junkyards are asking more for the used OE lights than what you can buy new aftermarket for.

I like the look of the full composite headlights from the xlt model. Teehee is correct junkyards want crazy money for them.

I like the modern look of the composite lights with the chrome grill, I just feel they look a little out of place with the black grill. Since all my bumpers, bars and racks are going to be black I've decided on the black trimmed lights and black grill. I guess I'll just order the new aftermarkets for $60 each, the cheapest used OE's I can find is $45, so unless there are serious quality issues with the aftermarkets it seems like a no brainier.

Did you get the ones with the HID lights? I installed them last week, looks good with the black grill. I agree the composite headlights don't look as good with the black grill. That's why I am wondering if the truck composite headlights will work. Plenty of blackout aftermarket versions.

Those look nice! I haven't ordered any bulbs yet, just the signal lights and bezel. Where did you get the HID's and is the light output much better than stock?

All came together as a kit from eBay. Not the brightest HID kit but 10x better than the stock headlights.

If HIDs and output are of concern, look into the trucklite LED 5x7 headlights. Pricey at $360 for a set but PLENTY of output and longevity IMO
