cheap molle setup?

I did a similar set up to what @shlaytim did. The mesh came from a truck cab divider, I just cut it to fit in my window, and welded tabs on to bolt it to the pinch welds. I scored some condor pouches off craigslist for $20.

What vehicle do you have the seat covers on? I've been debating getting em cause I've seen when you make a "universal" fit cover it fits everything kinda well and fits nothing perfectly.

I've got a tacoma

I have an H3. They are universal fit, and fit great. The only think I don't like so much is that they don't fully cover my original seats, so they aren't truly preventing wear (on the corner of the seats).
