cheap pro-comp coilovers?

I would think those are just replacement shocks for that price, not actual threaded body coil-overs.

that was my first thought, but looking at several different sources besides the two listed all show them as complete coilovers, describe them as coilovers and suggest you can get 4-inches of lift.

Again, I know they have to be crap, only "good" for show, but I am so curious nevertheless.

What's the weight of your rig in trail trim? Just a guess, but those shocks probably will not be adequate...with all the weight, I've been ruining my 2.0" SAWs for the last couple years. The harder I play, the quicker they blow. If you're seriously looking at replacement coilovers, look for something in the 2.5" body range, small shaft diameter, etc...they will control the loaded weight better.

I'm not saying those ProComp units are garbage or anything, just that likely they won't be an improvement over what you have now, for loaded overland use.

I'm not buying them, don't worry. I just saw them and was curious. Someone over on yotatech contacted one of the sellers and they insisted it came with the coil as well as the shock. Who knows, maybe they are the real thing ... (please note the sarcasm in the last sentence.)
