Rather than wait in line and pay a tire shop to swap tires every winter/spring I'm gonna get a cheap set of rims to mount the winter tires on and then I can swap out the wheels myself at my leisure for free.
Pick-n-Pull sell used steel rims for $12ea, alloys for $21ea. Only problem is that they rarely have a 4th Gen 4Runner to scavenge from. Anyone here know of other model years that will fit?
The specs on my stock alloys are:
7.5" x 17"
Bolt pattern: 6 x 139.7
Offset 30
Backspace 5.04
