Very nice craftsmanship.

Can you give me some specs on the sliders that you used? weight, dimensions, where you got them, etc? I am in the planning stages of a similar build, but mine may be a bit more simple. I am really interested in your fridge slider.

thanx.

Thanks,
After trying different drawer slides I went with the Acuride 9308s with the lock in and lock out feature
They are very stout and no need for a added latch system.

The fridge holder is a Engel slide lock from http://www.sierraexpeditions.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=37
If you need a more detailed pics let me know.

I like that you have the ability to open the drawer while the stove is open. Cool idea.

How did you handle the stove gas supply? Just a long hose? Does it attach to the rear of the stove? All the stoves I've seen have the gas supply on the side, which would kinda mess up your layout.

Beautiful work, makes me wish my truck had a rear hatch... Can you tell me where you purchased the slides (which distributor)? I am in San Jose and I think the 9308's would be perfect for my solar project.

Thanks!

Hooks up on the side. I use a hose with a adapter for the small propane bottles, but no problems with the layout.

If you wouldnt mind, could you try and take some pictures of where the base is bolted in?

Ditto. If you're still checking this thread I'd love to know where/how/what fasteners you used to secure the base. I have a similar build I'd like to pursue and I'm curious of you had to drop the gas tank to secure your base or if you were able to do it otherwise...

Excelsior!
I need to make a base like yours. I was concerned about the weight and then saw your cutouts that maintained strength. Nice!

I did not have to drop the tank, Once the base was fitted and in place I drilled down through the base, carpet, and the floor after lots of measuring, none were close to the tank.

I used these bolts because of there large flat heads. http://www.leevalley.com/US/hardware/page.aspx?p=44242&cat=3,43715,45375

That's just what I was hoping to hear. Thanks for the info and the picture. That gives me a great roadmap of sorts to get started on mine.
