I recently bought a Chevy quigley with 6.0 gas engine. I’ve been searching and haven’t really found anything if anyone has had theirs tuned or added and modifications? Exhaust? Thank you.

The 6.0L aches for a cam swap. You don't want to go too far obviously with the need for low end torque, but they have all the flow and compression available in factory trim that cams can really wake them up. Just narrowing the LSA and adding 5 degrees of duration is probably good for 30-40 hp and you'll only shift the torque peak up by about 250 rpm. The factory truck intake is one of the best for LS power... even better than most aftermarket intakes, and better than the LS6 intake. On the exhaust side, the manifolds are pretty good for being cast iron logs. Exhaust upgrades are more for sound than power. Suffice it to say, if you want you could pick up 10hp with headers and a 3" dynomax, or you could really wake it up with a mild cam swap.

My new-to-me 5.3L likely won't get a cam since it is handicapped with smaller displacement and I don't want to risk shifting the torque peak too high, but I'm open to the option if I can find one that works in my RPM range. It will probably get a mildly rumblier muffler just for sound. I will probably ditch the factory air cleaner since they can be a tiny bit restrictive. I also have a 4L60E and will be towing a fair amount and would prefer to not burn up all the clutches at once :)
