Chevy 2500 HD Sags to One Side with Camper

Bought a 2018 Chevy 2500HD LTZ, Z71 and a 2001 Hallmark Ute Lx camper. Love the setup, but the truck sags ~2" more on the driver side rear than the passenger side. I'm guessing it's due to all the appliances on that side (batteries, fridge, kitchen cabinets, etc.), the water storage is centered near the front of the camper.

1) Is it important to correct this; my wife and I can't stand it, but are there other reasons?
2) What do you recommend for correcting it

Does the camper ride in the truck at all times? Do you drive off-pavement regularly? What else is the truck used for? Stock suspension?

No, we only put the camper on when using. Off pavement with the camper for sure, rest of the time not so much. Truck is mainly for camping and hauling home project stuff, though I do use it occasionally for errands. Yes, truck suspension (everything for that matter) is stock at this point.

You can look into airbags. They're pretty easy to install, I put a set on my 2008 Silverado 3500. Might decrease your rear articulation some but on the other hand you probably aren't rock crawling so it probably won't make a huge difference.

I had the same problem on my 2007 Chevy and a 4,000 pound 11' camper. The drivers' side sagged more. The driver, fuel tank, stove, water heater, sink, microwave, and bathroom were all on that side. I put airbags on the truck and aired up each side to make it level. I think I ran about 15 psi different from left to right.

I agree with the comments above. For your usage, airbags are probably your best bet.

Airbags will level the back but won't affect the front.

First:This is a normal condition of settlement on trucks/campers that carry a camper load over time. Our Tiger camper does it aswell....

Second: The addition of airbags will greatly help the sagging and leaning and the level carrying of the load (Airbags do not increase load carrying capacity of truck)

Third: Alternative suggestion if for the driver to cut back on the donuts and thereby reduce the excess weight in the driver seat.

Ran into this problem when I had custom springs made for my Ram with a FWC on it. Took it back to the spring company and they added an extra leaf to that side and everything leveled out. It was due to most of the heavy items in the camper were on one side.
