Chevy Express Van DIY spare tire carrier

For what it’s worth Scott did an awesome job on these. Mines still going strong. Fits the lines of the van great.

The only reason I was asking for "upsidedowns" is because it looked like you ran a vertical piece of tubing rather than attatching the hoop directly to the brackets... I was thinking of going that route rather than what Scott had. If its easier just text me a couple pictures 705-917-2246.

I am currently building a 2007 Chev express 3500 "roadtrek 190"
5 inch weldtech lift
285/70/17 tires
front 2 inch reciecver hitch with 13000 lb winch
front brush guard (blackhorse)
solar
all lithium batteries

-wanting to have both drivers and passenger hoops, one with the spare tire and the other one to hold recovery boards and a small underbody tool box

Currently have all 4 rear hinge locations fabbed up almost ready to bend up my tubing.

We are planning a 16 000 KM roadtrip to Alaska this year so trying to get it set up

Cheers, Brant
