Did you guys check out my website yet?
http://www.overlandquest.com/
I listed most of the mods there....
but here is a quick run down:
Bumpers – Ranch Hand Summit Bullnose Front and Sport back bumper. Chosen because of their lighter weight, durability, practical use- I wanted tough bumpers that I could stand on, mount accessories, and doze over road debris.
Winch - Smittybilt XRC 10,000 mounted on receiver cradle.
Side steps – 3” aluminum tubing, 3M non-skid tape, mounted on the stock mounting brackets. Good to have the lighter weight and full length reach the camper top.
Fender flares – Bushwacker extend-a-fender, I originally went with the OE flares then switched to these. They keep a lot more road debris off the truck.
Tail light guards – Garage Pro ¾” tube style guards which fasten via a pathetic weak method. A good base to tie them into a stronger mount
Roof rack – a low mount rack measuring only 4.5”. This is a carryover from my Avalanche but is now mounted on Thule roof mounts. The roof racks is a great place to store fire wood and wet gear.
Rear step – Bully swing away hitch step to ease access to the camper.
Blacked out hood paint- flat black enamel sprayed on to reduce glare from the silver hood.
Front fog lights – 6” Hella fog lamps wired into the existing fog lamp circuit (stock switch operates all forward ****** lamps).
Side lights – 4” tractor lights aimed at road side to aid in negotiating corners, finding camp sites, ect.
Rear lights – switch operated general lighting for camp use.
Tires/wheels – LT285/ 70 R17 Nitto Terra Grabber All Terrain tires mounted on stock GM rims.
A.R.E - Deluxe Commercial Unit, all aluminum construction, 6” over cab height
Roof rack – factory ladder rack with additional 1” cross bars
Kayak cradles – Yakima Landshark Saddles
Equipment mounting – Vehicle recovery tools
Dome vent – Fantastic roof vent.
Side window – passenger side full length tinted sliding window with screen.
Tool box – Drivers side door tool box, led lighting
Water source – 11 gallons stored in (2) 20 liter Scepter military water cans
Swing away mount – 5# propane tank, equipment box, and stove shelf
Shower nossel – Flojet 1.3 gpm on demand 12v pump, 15” hose with garden attachment for shower and clean up.
Front sliding window – reversed lock to inside.
Lighting – Amber rear 12v porch light.
