The Cayenne is awesome and would do fine on any trail at Big Bend. I just did a trip to the State Park Ranch and it would do fine there too. Just expect some scratches

Nice trip report and pics.

Canoed the Rio Grande a few years ago with a friend at Christmas. It snowed and the wind blew upstream so hard that we couldn't move downstream for two days. Hunkered down in a hovel and drank beer. A great memory.

I'm from the Land of Opportunity myself. Go hogs!
