Chinese Trailer - NJStar Explorer

It's been a while since this thread has been active, and this was where I first discovered the NJStar trailers.
I got one.
Apparently, a person who was doing other types of importing decided to import TWO of them since he had to fill a container and then sell one to amortize their costs.
So, the one I got was a barely used 2023 model (in Arctic White) with the tilt roof popup. It *came* with - 2 LiPo batteries, 2 solar panel setup, an anemic 2 burner stove (that was not plumbed or hooked up) along with all the standard stuff.
I got it late October 2024.
I've been modifying things, and adding stuff.
So far I LOVE it. Just the right size for me and my lady.
I will post more pictures and modifications if people are interested.
Keep us posted. How does your exterra pull this rig?

Hello friends.
im Paulo, writing from Chile.
After many hours reading about this company i ordered one.
At the beginning, all i can find on YouTube was uploaded by the Chinese, there was no “real NJSTAR trailer reviews” by owners in the us or australia so i was a bit afraid. anyway i decide to get one.
NJstar launched a bigger version of the explorer, i believe it’s about 60cms longer and have a few differences in the exterior layup. Its called the commander.

i have been talking with Alex, straight from the company in china, and he has been super friendly and answered all my questions.
Once i get the trailer i will post pictures and give you guys an update.
In chile, we dont have special tariff with china since there is a free trade agreement between countries, so we only pay the retailed price plus the shipping.
i created a facebook group in case njstar owners here would like to join. (Njstar trailers owners group)
cheers

How much did it end up costing you with shipping?

the hole process will end up being 30.000 usd including the upgrades, the shipping, etc.
If the trailer is as high quality as I’ve heard, the price is incredible good compared with the us Made ones.
(is the commander model, not the explorer).

3.000w inverter, AC, diesel heater, electric popup roof, cassette toilet, hot shower inside and outside, fully equipped kitchen, fridge, independent suspension, and top materials, sounds like a very good deal for the price. I will put the trailer to the test this summer in Patagonia and see if its up to the task :)

Hi all. I do not see the "Commander" model listed on the website, and I do not see any pictures of it. Can anyone post a picture?
Where can you find the customize options of the trailer like electric roof, cassette toilet, etc
Thank you
