Hey all - just found this site last week - best site on the internet.
Got the jeep 2 yrs ago , finally have time & money to begin the work.
Last expedition was last summer - trip west (4 weeks & 6,800 miles), not with the jeep.
Prepping the jeep for next expedition to Skyline Drive in Virginia this summer.
Here it is as I bouught it.


First things first, ditch the stock carter carb for a Weber.


Next, remove stock 2 pc axels that come standard in an AMC 20.


I will need to do a little welding too.


Hope to do a shake down camping trip next weekend in the Pa state forest.

I was thinking that is a great looking CJ for an east coast rig and then you posted the frame picture. Ughh.

Busy Weekend
