***FREE*** raised sleeping platform for LR3

Before I scrap it I figured I’d see if anyone wanted a raised sleeping platform that my LR3’s previous owner built and that I inherited. As the truck is a touch too small for my wife, son, myself and our 90lb dog, I have no use for the platform. When in the truck it leaves about 12” of space below for storage.

Located in Medford, OR.

Do you have any pictures of the platform installed in the truck? I'm in Portland and have family in Eugene. Also, if it isn't for me, I would be happy to cross-post to the Pacific Coast Rover Club list serv - someone on there might want to snag it.

Feel free to share it, thanks. I don’t have any photos of it installed. It’s just something I inherited and figured I’d see if there are any takers before moving on from. It’s fairly straightforward and you can see from the photo I have of it that the platform creates about 12-15” of storage beneath itself and it is built to the contours of the vehicle with the seats lying flat. It’s pretty nice actually! If my lifestyle and camping trips were different I’d keep it, but it isn’t going to get used by us. Feel free to share this with anyone you’d like. I may get around to installing for additional pictures but we’ve got a four month old and a puppy and I have 136.4 other Land Rover projects I’m currently somewhere in process on so it hasn’t been a high priority and is eating up valuable garage space.

Took a couple shots of the two pieces put together for a better frame of reference
