Classic DODGE TRUCK VIDEO

Argh,

Don't mean to harp on this any more, but why must web sites be so FLASH happy? Why can't people choose standards?

I like the "specially built refrigerator truck." I want one of those for my next expedition. Notice at the end of the film, they rolled into camp, opened the firdge, and cracked a cold, refreshing beverage. Raise your hand if that doesn't seem familiar.

yeah, I don't think dodge made many 4 wheel drive buses with a winch! That was bad azzzz. Man I hate being behind a desk!

Having watched these on some VMs, how very cool and how very tread heavily. :)

It was fortunate the lead vehicle in the convoy got stuck in the river with room to let the other vehicles pass it, and while a film crew happened to be shooting. :)

Pretty cool to see a 2 lever transfer case.:smiley_drive:

Cool! Thx for the link! I especially liked the gin pole rig for loading.... shows what you can do with a winch and little bit of thought. I notice that the 5-tonners and 'scout car' weren't 4x4's. I did a test drive in an old ('54?) Power Wagon, about 35 years ago. IMO, they're nicer to look at and think about than to drive long-term, at least in stock form. Of course, that drive was just around town, but you definitely needed lots of muscle for steering and brakes. It helped me realize what an all-purpose jewel my ol' Scout 800 was... ;)

That... is... AWESOME!!!!!! It reminds me of growing up around my Dad's family's logging opperations down in Southern Oregon. Nothing but Power Wagons. Great FInd!!!!!!
