I know this is going to sound totally stupid but what about a product like RainX on the lights to help prevent the snow sticking in the first place?

I think there is a product called plexus or something like that. It may work...but the design of the JK's headlights, you could have super slippery nasa type headlight coverings and snow will still pack in there. another idea is covers that would make the headlight pocket flush with the grill.

So I ordered a set for my Cherokee and to my surprise they came labeled ARB with 2 different filters. .

I am surprised that I am the only person commenting on this... They came labeled as ARB?! I haven't seen that before...

A friend of mine runs these knockoffs in the black flavor and they're incredibly bright. In the past, my projector retrofit headlights have outshined every knockoff LED lightbar I have compared them too. These big ol' ARB knockoffs though were very impressive. So much so that I may consider a pair.

Could you post the link on eBay/amazon/wherever you found these lights. I know how bad it is to want a clone set with the ARB logo on them, but darn they look close to the real thing!!

I would like the link as well to the seller! Would love to pick up a set

Heated Trucklites... you have my attention!

Yep, they have "defrosters" built into the lenses. I am very close to pulling the trigger on a set. and sell my regular ones to a person that does not need the heat option.

I put a pair of Heated Truck Lites on my JK and haven't noticed any snow buildup yet, but they really haven't been tested in a massive snow storm at night.

I really can not justify $1600 hanging off the front of my vehicle, just waiting for a Kangaroo to destroy it or have some kid flog them when parked.

So long as the lighting output is adequate and not spilling out all over the place, then i cant see why most people would pay 1000% more for something that may only be 20% better.

No offense to ARB but there isn't a light on the planet, LED or otherwise, that I'd cough up $800 for.

I have a set of the heated trucklites for my JKUR and I love them. Went through snow/sleet mix and didn't lose any functionality of my headlights. If you live anywhere that will see snow/ice accumulation then I believe that the heated lights are a must.

Yeah, I agree. When I bought mine, the heated versions were not released. I think I'm going to sell mine, to get the heated versions.

I actually bought a set of these and went to install them today when it started snowing (garage is full). I tested them on the battery though and they are very impressive! I'll post pics/thoughts when they're on.
