Coating NATO jerry cans with bedliner/Linex?

lol, you're so fixated on your fixation, you've missed my point that there's zero reason to paint a Scepter MFC, Won't rust, won't chip, they come in several colors. I am trying to point out to you that the very premise of 'having' to touch-up a paint can after every outing is farcical. Beyond reasonable or rational.

Like I said before, my goal was to find an alternative to Scepter. At this point, I have less cash in these two NATO cans than a brand new Scepter MFC with all of the associated accessories (fill spout, cap wrench, etc..) and I would have to purchase a different fuel can carrier as Scepters are bulkier and will not fit in my current dual can mount. I've used Scepter MFCs for many years in my line of work, they're a great product and take a lot of punishment, but they're not the right product for me at the moment. Thank you for your contribution to the discussion.

Unless you're like this guy.

Those cans look nice. I am also a big fan of the European style metal cans. They are tough as nails and don't leak, period.
