Went up into the Eldorado NF this Memorial Day weekend.

Lots of good forest roads, some challenging 4x4, beautiful lakes, creeks, etc.

We squeezed into a fantastic camping spot, only because we had the RTT.

Spot was too wet and sloped for a ground tent.

Here are a few of the highlights.

Will be going back up for further exploration as we just barely scratched the surface.

i was up in the toiyabe forest this weekend. wife is still too timid for any serious offorad in HER new Xterra. So far just some easy forest roads.

This was Eldorado NF off of 88, down behind Bear River Res.

Main forest road we tackled was 08N03 / Pardoes.

But there are dozens of forest roads back there to explore.
