Color lights for snow and fog : Ohio , Wva

Can't seem to find anyone who knows what light colors i can use in either ohio or wva . Need lights for blowing snow and dense fog . Don't want to get a ticket for illegal lights . Thought about mounting behind the grille or getting a light bar . If the colors i want are illegal , then what .

Anything amber with a wide pattern mounted low would work, right?

amber is the best thing to go with for inclement weather, it increases the contrast and is for the eyes to see. make sure to have these mounted low as possible to cut through the bottom portion, not through where your line of sight is.
