Well, let me tell you about my 100 day trip. We started on december 30 2012 our trip to Ushuaia from Temuco Chile.
Our route was something like this:
Temuco - Parque Nacional Vicente Perez Rosales - Hornopiren - Chaitén - Puyuhuapi - Puerto Cisnes - Puerto Aysen - Coyhaique - Puerto Río Tranquilo - Puerto Bertrand - Cochrane - Villa Ohiggins - Caleta Tortel - Cochrane - Cruce Chile Argentina por Paso Roballos - Bajo Caracoles - Tres Lagos - El Chaltén - El Calafate - Cruce Argentina Chile por paso Río Don Guillermo - Torres del Paine - Puerto Natales - Punta Arenas - Cruce Estrecho de Magallanes - Porvenir - Cruce Chile Argentina paso San Sebastián - Río Grande - Ushuaia - Cruce Argentina Chile por Paso Bellavista - Lago Blanco - Porvenir - Cruce Estrecho de Magallanes - Punta Arenas - Puerto Natales - Torres del Paine - Cruce Chile Argentina por paso Villa Dorotea - El Calafate - Tres Lagos - Puerto San Julián -Caleta Olivia - Los Antiguos - Sarmiento - Comodoro Rivadavia - Trelew - Playa Unión - Puerto Madryn - Esquel - El Bolsón - Bariloche - San Martín de Los Andes - Cruce Argentina Chile por paso Mamuil Malal - Pucón - Temuco.
It take us exactly 100 days and 12.000 kms (7500 miles). We have no problems at all. Our Dodge Cummins 5.9 and Hallmark camper passed this real test. The most beautifull places for us are: Carretera Austral (Route 7 Chile), Torres del Paine Chile, and Ushuaia Argentina.
