Convert Parking Lights to Turn Signals?

I'm certain I've seen a description of how to wire your Tacoma's front parking lights so that they will blink with you turn signals, but I can't find it. I've searched here and at TTORA & Tundra Solutions - found descriptions of adding a second bulb to the parking light housing, but not the simple rewiring I remember reading last year.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Almost....

Hello Chuck:

Thanks for the link - that's one of the writeups of a technique that adds a second bulb to the parking light fixture. It works, but more effort that I wanted to go to. What I recall is a technique where you do something like feed the parking light via the ground from the blinker - or something like that...

The only disadvantage that I recall from the writeup is that the turn signal and the parking light blink in opposition rather than simultaneously.

No idea on Taco's, on my '84 the corner light & the turn signal have the same plug. I just swapped the turn signal wire to the corner marker. The only down side is tha the resistance of the corner marker is less. My exGF told me that my turn signals were on Speed. :)

It is very feasible to relocate your existing turn signals into the corner lamp assy.

Just drill the appropriate size hole in the housing and fit the turn signal assy to corner lamp assy

I have a step-by-step writeup somewhere over in TTORA - I have the same username there...
