Getting ideas (thank you) where to go/explore on this thread: http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57366&highlight=philippines
Now I am planning my trip including what camping/hiking gears to take. Just realize I can't take my Jetboil fuel cans as checked-in luggage (TSA site): http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm - I can bring the Jetboil cooking gear but not the fuel cans.
Visited Jetboil's site and couldn't find any info re: suppliers in the PI. Sent an email to ROX Phils - Recreational Outdoor Xchange Philippines for suggestions or alternative fuel avail for camping 0 waiting for their reply.
In the meantime, wanted to ask Expo folks what portable cooking gear do you take with you on the air (travel) and find its fuel supply specifcially in the Philippines.
Prefer to stick w/Jetboil (since this is what I have) or open to other portable cooking platform as long as fuel is avail. Must have hot coffee in the morning - small "must" luxury! :chef: Also if we can't find bottled water, will come in handy for boiling local water for our consumption.
Thanks in advance!
