Cooking inside a Columbus RTT

I usually head out late and stop halfway in a 24 hour parking lot
So I cant set up an awning or bbq or cook outside
And since my truck is Suzuki Jimny/Samurai space is very limited

Does anyone cook inside a Columbus or Overcamp?

I guess it depends upon if anything lives where you camp that can totally kill you or not.

Carbon monoxide would likely be an issue, so you'd need to keep the doors/windows open for ventilation.

You could heat water with a Jetboil and a hanging kit if you needed to (with adequate ventilation.)

I don't think its a good idea. Cooking leaves traces other than just scent that would be attractive to unwanted pests. And that would be problematic not only while camping but when the tents is in storage. You might just leave her closed for a few days and when next you use it find a nest of ants or mice have been chewing your expensive tents fabrics to pieces. If you can't cook just graze inside the car.
