this vehicle is more than 25 years old, so there will be no
problems with safety and emissions inspection when importing to USA

I think the 300D turbodiesel was not available in the G-Wagen until the mid 1990s,
so this is likely an engine swap.

Slightly fishy. It sounds like a description I have read before, and is very generic. Maybe they are just lazy, so outside of that: the springs are shot, so budget for that, ask for detailed pics of usual rust spots and, the big problem here, that engine in the photo is not a turbo version.
