Crazedlist

For those who like craigslist, take a look at http://www.crazedlist.org which allows you to search for something in multiple craigslist locations at the same time. There are half a dozen craigslist locations within an hour of my house and crazedlist makes it easy to search all of them at once. I bought a replacement Jeep Wrangler bumper this afternoon in Western Mass. this afternoon for $30. :)

The one wrinkle is you have to make a simple tweak to your browser for the search results to be displayed correctly and I haven't found out how to do that for Safari yet. Firefox works fine (browse to about:config, put "referer" in the filter box, select network.http.sendRefererHeader, right click and modify the value to 0.) There are similar instructions on crazedlist for IE and Opera too.

Cheers,
Graham

It used to be much easier to use until some sort of lawsuit happened. But it is still cool to use.:costumed-smiley-007

Thank you Graham!

That is one cool site! Somehow I've missed it totally, but it's going to be a real help in my search for a Cruiser. I'm willing to drive if I find the right one, so searching down to Eugene and up to Bellingham is great!

I also love the way the results are displayed.

I seem to recall that there's a trick with google for doing a similar search. Syntax something like "Craigslist: XXXX" Anyone know more about that?

Oooohhhh, just tried "craigslist: FJ60" and got a bunch of worldwide CL returns. :)
