Crocs?

I love wearing crocs on driving days. I drive barefoot (or in socks) so they're super easy to put on and take off.

Sure, it's not the most dignified shoe for a gas station, but when you're halfway across the world, people don't judge you only on your shoes.

I even preferred them to my fancy Birkenstocks. Was perfect for those quick rest area stops where you climb up impromptu boulders, hills, rocky sea-sides, etc. Not safe by any means but was a symbol of freedom to me.

To be clear, I like the Crocs but I prefer my off-brand knock-offs that found in a Turkish street market. I even got to negotiate the price a little bit. ?

Crocs just work as camping shoes... Doesn't matter what they look like.

They dry fast... They're relatively comfy... you can put the safety-strap down if you're doing something crazy like climbing mountains in them...
