We broke out a camp at bodega sand dunes for the night. They got nice hot showers which came in handy after swimming in cold pacific. Also discovered a beach 1/4 mile away
The next day we were headed to Death Valley. I never realized that something that is supposed to be just a desert could be so beautiful with so much changing scenery. Everyone and I mean everyone MUST visit it at least once. Just make sure you A/C works. It got up to +42 and it is September. Anyways here some pics of the scenery and the campsite we stayed at
A few more photos of the magical scenery. There was much much more to see and the eyes are never bored for hours and hours of driving however no camera can capture how it really feels and looks in reality
Oh and this little guy who stumbled into the restaurant at the campsite when we were having dinner. That being said hiking boots is a better option than sandals around these areas
